AMI is dedicated to training farmers and gardeners, bolstering the local food economy, and improving access to healthy, nutrient-dense food in our communities. Food grown by AMI is incorporated into educational and health promotion projects, donated to hunger relief, and is available for sale at local outlets.

We sell a variety of our produce at the Highland County Farmers Market each week. You can find us at the Highland Center pavilion located at 61 Highland Center Dr. in Monterey, Virginia, Fridays 3:30 - 6:00 PM throughout the market season.

DONATIONS

 

At AMI, we value the connection between food and health. As part of our work to create healthy, thriving communities, we are committed to donating 20% of our harvest to local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.This year, produce from the Allegheny Mountain Farm will be distributed to Highland County families via the Department of Social Services and the Highland Children’s Home. If you are interested in partnering with us to distribute our produce to Highland County residents, email info@amifellows.org.
